Anti-Doping Education Programme

Enhancing Anti-Doping education stands as an essential component in safeguarding the integrity of our sport. In collaboration with the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA), and International Testing Agency (ITA), United World Wrestling (UWW) stands in its commitment to combat doping in wrestling. We collaborate closely with National Wrestling Federations, National Olympic Committees and National Doping Agencies to fortify our collective efforts.

The foremost goal is to prevent doping, and education serves as the foundation of our strategy. UWW Anti-Doping education initiative presents a comprehensive program tailored for all stakeholders in wrestling. This initiative places a special emphasis on reaching out to young wrestlers and coaches, ensuring a targeted and effective approach to fostering a clean and fair sporting environment.

Anti-Doping education is integrated into every educational course conducted by UWW Development. Whether led by our internal experts or in collaboration with local Anti-Doping agencies, we are dedicated to delivering informative sessions and workshops. These programs are designed to empower coaches, athletes, and their support teams with essential knowledge, fostering a collective commitment to maintaining the highest standards of integrity in the sport. 

UWW has established a partnership with the International Testing Agency (ITA), and since January 2021, we have been actively organizing monthly Anti-Doping Education Webinars for all wrestling federations. These webinars serve as a valuable platform to disseminate crucial information, updates, and insights related to Anti-Doping measures. Through our collaboration with ITA, we aim to enhance the collective understanding and adherence to Anti-Doping protocols within the global wrestling community.
