Legacy Programme

UWW initiatives and projects aim to leave a lasting impact on all hosting cities of our major events. The existing programmes focus on social, economic and environmental aspects.
Here are some of the legacy programmes:

1.    Equipment and mat donation to the organisation committee are then given to local clubs, schools and any sporting institutions in line with the hosting NF plan.
2.    Community engagement through the clubs, local schools to encourage and increase participation and growth of sport on the national level
3.    Organise systematically coaching, refereeing, administrators and events workshops/courses.
4.    Contribution to the local economy through tourism, cultural visits, job opportunities, etc.
5.    Contributing to a sustainable environment. UWW events are organised in existing competition venues. Transportation mode is mainly electrical or through local transportation for most of the participants.
6.    Initiates environmental activities through local NGOs and associations to promote/raise awareness on the topic.
