  • Participated in London Olympic games 1948 in 73 kg - Free-Style, his age was 18 years old. He lost at the third round from Yasar Dugu (TUR), who was the best wrestler in the world.
  • Participated in Helsinki Olympic games in Gréco 79 kg.
  • Won the gold medal at the Mediterranean games 1950 and the silver medal at Barcelona 1955.
  • Gold medal at the Arab games 1953.
  • Bronze medal in the Youth Festival Warsaw 1955.
  • Referee at the Balkan Championship 1962.
  • E referee 1970.
  • First tune referee at Olympic games was at München. Then 7 times mat chairman and controller and finally responsible for the officiating in World and Olympics till Athens.
  • Mr. Moustafa started wrestling since 60 years from a wrestling family, since his father “Ibrahim Moustafa” was a Gold-medallist at 1928 Amsterdam. Moreover, his three sons have been world and international champions and one of them is E referee.
  • Mr. Moustafa have done so much for Africa and organized several African Championships and Games.
  • He became a FILA Bureau Member since 1988.
