11:25: Former U17 world champion Yuu KATSUME (JPN) with a 28-second 10-0 win over Josephine WRENSCH (GER) at 50kg. She is the favorite to win the gold medal here
11:20: PRINCE (IND) with a come-from-behind victory against Nurdaulet RAKHMAN (KAZ) at 82kg. Rakhman scored a four-pointer from par terre but got countered from Prince for two points. In the same sequence, Rakhman managed to score counter exposure for two points. Prince, then controlled Rakhman for two more points, making the score 7-5. Prince got the par terre in the second period and managed a lift and throw for two points and defended his 8-7 lead for the win.
11:05: Alireza MOHAMMAD HOSSEINI (IRI) took his time but he got the par terre in the second period against Dominik HERVAI (SVK), he managed the most beautiful body throw for four points before getting one more for two points and win 7-1 at 82kg
11:00: Former U17 world champion and U20 world bronze medalist Kiryl VALEUSKI (BLR) has to do it two time but he beats Ismail BEREKET (TUR) to advance at 82kg. Valeuski blocks Bereket for two points and then rolls to an 8-0 win. But Turkiye challenges and the first throw is called risk and points are cancelled. Valeuski then gets par terre and turns Bereket once to lead 3-0. Bereket cannot score any points from his par terre and Valeuski gets the counter to secure a fall.
10:25: After the repechage rounds, the qualification rounds begin in Greco-Roman. Amirali HEYDARI (IRI) begins the 60kg campaign with a dominant 9-0 win over Alin CHITIC (MDA).
10:00: The U20 World Championships continues with two Greco-Roman weights on day three and tomen's Wrestling will begin with three weight categories. At 60kg, Aykhan JAVADOV (AZE) is the defending champion while former U17 world champion Kiryl VALEUSKI (BLR) will try to win the gold medal at 82kg.
