BRATISLAVA, Slovakia (August 20) -- The fifth day of the U20 World Wrestling Championships in Bratislava will see three Women's Wrestling and two Freestyle weight classes. The women's will be in action in 57kg, 59kg and 68kg while Freestyle will be in 61kg and 86kg.

11:55: How quick was that from Konami ONO (JPN)! She opens her U20 Worlds run with a 10-0 win over Chahd JELJELI (TUN) at 57kg. Ono is a former U17 world silver medalist and sister of world champion Masanosuke ONO (JPN).
11:50: Hiunai HURBANOVA (AZE) advances to the quarterfinals with an 11-1 win over Ulbiyke KARLYBAEVA (UZB). She has looked in extreme control at 57kg.
11:45: Mansi LATHER (IND) hands three-time U17 world champion Taina FERNANDEZ (USA) her first international loss. Later and Fernandez meet in the opening round at 68kg and the American hits a leg attack and finishes the takedown for a 2-0 lead. However, Fernandez starts to get the difference of the age group as Lather just puts her strength in defending the attacks. Lather counters and keep Fernandez in check and wins 10-2 at 68kg
11:15: In the marquee match-up of the morning, returning silver medalist Ahora KHATERI (IRI) faced Aaron SEIDEL (USA). Khateri and Seidel scored stepouts with Khateri leading 2-1 at the break. Khateri goes for the double leg attack in the second period which is countered by Seidel and he turns Khateri two times to lead 7-2. One turn is cancelled after challenge but Seidel still leads 5-2. Khateri keeps going for far away shots Seidel keeps countering. A tired Khateri and a pacing Seidel and the Iranian drops the opening bout 15-4
11:00: Former U20 world champion Alp Arslan BEGENJOV (TKM) with his big moves as he beats Bolati NA ERTAI (CHN), 10-0, at 86kg and advances. He is Turkmenistan's first-ever U20 world champion
10:40: Hiunai HURBANOVA (AZE), the returning bronze medalist at 59kg, moves down to 57kg and begins with a 12-0 victory over Liliana KAPUVARI (HUN), 12-1.
10:30: Not the start Amelia SAMUELSSON (SWE) was thinking. The returning silver medalist and U20 European champion drops her opening bout to Alina BAROEVA (RUS), 8-3, at 59kg
10:00: The day will start with repechage rounds before we move into the qualification in Women's Wrestling and Freestyle. Three-time U17 world champion Taina FERNANDEZ (USA) is making her U20 debut.
