CHUNJU, Korea (September 3) -- The World Martial Arts Masterships Committee (WMC) has appointed United World Wrestling president Nenad Lalovic as a member of the WMC. The appointment was made by WMC chairman Si Jong Lee during the World Masters World Championships this week in Chungju, Korea. WMC President Chung Won CHOUE and Honorary president Ki Moon BAN were also on hand. The award was presented to UWW Bureau Member and Technical Delegate for the event, Rodica YAKSI (TUR).

Alysh Classic Style, Alysh Freestyle, and Kazakh Kuresh were each competed during the championships. The styles are each part of United World Wrestling's expansive "Associated Styles" which recognizes and supports important regional styles of wrestling from around the world.
