CORSIER-SUR-VEVEY, Switzerland (April 7) – United World Wrestling has signed a two-year sponsorship deal with sports nutrition company MusclePharm. The deal, which comes a few months after the federation’s partnership with mat-provider Taishan, is part of the organization’s ongoing process to increase the commercial presence of the sport.

They are a leader in the nutrition industry because they maintain rigorous quality standards and show a commitment to athletes,” said United World Wrestling’s President Nenad Lalovic. “The focus of this partnership is to improve the education of wrestlers when it comes to nutrition. We want our athletes informed about safe solutions to making weight and the use of supplements.”
Through their Sports Science Institute, MusclePharm products adhere to a six-stage research process. As a part of its rigorous quality control process, INFORMED CHOICE certifies that all of MusclePharm’s products are free of banned substances.
