Fifty-two athletes representing 16 countries participated in United World Wrestling's More Than Medals Camp for Asia and Oceania in Sukhotai, Thailand, July 24-Aug. 2. Athletes had the opportunity to learn from four-time Olympic champion Kaori Icho (Japan) and three-time world champion Martine Dugrenier (Canada). In addition, 28 coaches attended a Level 1 coaching course, which was delivered by UWW educators.
More Than Medals is a United World Wrestling initiative to deliver wrestling technique, life skills and experiences to athletes from developing nations and wrestling programs.
