Gennadij CUDINOVIC (GER) had a dominant semifinal against two-time World medalist and two-time Olympian Jamaladdin MAGOMEDOV (AZE) defeating him 15-6. That win gave the German his ticket to Tokyo Olympics, his first after he had failed to qualify for the Rio Games. After competing for a long time at the 97kg weight class, Cudinovic shifted to 125kg in early 2020 and hoped to qualify Germany in the weight category. He works for the German Police.
