Qualified for Tokyo Olympics with 5th-place finish at 2019 World Championships. Advanced to semifinals, where he lost 8-1 to Abdulrashid SADULAEV (RUS), then lost to Magomedgadji NUROV (MKD) 8-5 in bronze-medal match....Medaled at all 3 tournaments entered in 2021. Bronze at Matteo Pellicone, silver at Asian Championships and bronze at Poland Open. Lost to Ali SHABANIBENGAR (IRI) in both final at Almaty and semifinals at Warsaw...Won Poland Open in 2019....Has been haunted by Iranians in career. In 2018, was world junior silver medalist and Asian junior bronze medalist at 92kg, losing at both tournaments to Abbas Ali FOROUTANRAMI (IRI). At 2016 Asian cadet, lost in 100kg final to Seyedmehdi HASHEMI (IRI)....Studying to become lawyer. Brothers are also wrestlers.
