UWW LIVE: Sergei Beloglazov - Two-Time Olympic Gold Medalist and Six-Time World Champion

Sergei BELOGLASOV is one of the all-time greats in freestyle wrestling. 

Competing for the Soviet Union, Beloglasov dominated the world at 57kg from 1980 to 1988. He captured two Olympic gold medals, first at the 1980 Moscow Games and again at the 1988 Seoul Games. In between his Olympic gold medals, Beloglasov claimed six world titles. He also won five World Cup titles and five European gold medals. In 2004, Beloglazov was inducted into the UWW International Wrestling Hall of Fame.

Beloglasov has coached wrestling all over the world, serving as a national coach for Japan, Russia, United States and Kazakhstan. Since 2018, Beloglazov has served as a wrestling coach at the Cliff Keen Wrestling Club, located in Ann Arbor, Michigan (USA). 

Beloglazov joined United World Wrestling's Eric Olanowski to talk about his recent Cliff Keen Wrestling Club contract extension and how he and his athletes are approaching their training situation during these unprecedented times.
