CORSIER-SUR-VEVEY, Switzerland (April 3) – United World Wrestling announced today that the 2018 Cadet European Championships have been moved from Kiev (UKR) to Skopje (MKD).

The championships were moved after there was concern the Ukrainian Sports Ministry would be unable to secure the participation of all European nations. The UWW executive committee voted unanimously to approve the move of venue.

The championships, one of the most-watched events on the UWW calendar, will also be pushed back by a few weeks and will run May 14-20.
