Freestyle (Men and Women) Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, November 21-23
Greco Roman Paris, France, October 31 to November 2

“United World Wrestling is committed to delivering a high quality learning environment for our best coaches, both men and women, and we hope the new Advanced Schools will be an exciting development for coaches all over the world.” said United World Wrestling president Nenad Lalovic. “The new direction of the Advanced Schools is part of our overall rethinking of strategy in relation to coaches education and development of our sport.”

In order to further encourage more female coaches to take part in the Advanced School, United World Wrestling will waive the participation fee for female coaches.

The format will introduce presenters with expert knowledge of the sport, a more hands on approach of technical aspects of wrestling and a practical examination. That will finalize the sessions.  The Advanced School will also provide a unique interface between the Referees Commission and Coaches Commission, where presenters from both groups will come together to present on rule changes and developments.

Coaches who wish to take part in the Advanced School must be recommended by their National Federation and have experience at the Olympic Games, World Championships or World Cup.
