About Stevan Andria

The top seed for the Tokyo Games, Stevan MICIC is an American-born Serbian wrestler. He competed for the USA until 2016 and later switched to Serbia in 2018, winning two bronze medals at the European Championships. He qualified for the Olympics by virtue of his fifth-place finish at the 2019 World Championships. He lost the bronze medal bout 4-3 to Nurislam SANAYEV of Kazakhstan. A consistent podium finish, Micic won a silver medal at the European Games and has three medals at the Ranking Series events including two gold medals. Both of those came at the Poland Open in 2018 and 2021. He trains at the University of Michigan. He also has a second-place finish at the NCAA -- a prestigious college tournament in the USA.
