About Myles Nazem
San Marino got a freestyle wrestler going to the Tokyo Olympics in Myles AMINE (SMR) as he qualified for the Games with 5th place finish at the 86kg in Nursultan. He lost to Artur NAIFANOV of Russia in the bronze medal bout. Born in Michigan, United States, Amine decided to wrestle for his native country in 2018. He won a silver medal at the 2020 European Championships in Rome, Italy and a bronze a year later. At 86kg, he will be seeded third for the Games which will be his first. He trains at the University of Michigan and has been a Big Ten champion in the past.
