Zurabi DATUNASHVILI (SRB) will be competing at his third Olympic Games but for the first time under the Serbian flag. In 2012 and 2016, he represented Georgia. But he decided to switch to Serbia in 2020. A four-time European champion, Datunashvili qualified for the Games from the World Qualifiers in Sofia. In the all-important semifinal, he defeated the Olympic champion Davit CHAKVETADZE (RUS) to earn his ticket to the Games. In London, he reached the quarterfinals before losing to Emin AHMADVO (AZE). In Rio, he could not clear the first round.
