Unstoppable at the European Qualifiers, Ramaz ZOIDZE (GEO) gave up only two points in four bouts and won the gold medal in Budapest. After his win against Slavik GALSTYAN (ARM) in the semifinal, he won the ticket to Tokyo for his country. He will be competing at his first Olympics. Born in Batumi, Georgia, Zoidze won a silver medal at the U23 World Championship in Bucharest in 2018 and finished 5th the following year at the same event. He is a gold medalist at the U23 European Championship in Istanbul in 2018.
