Born in Zagreb, the capital of Croatia, Bozo STARCEVIC (CRO) is coached by his brother. Before joining wrestling, Starcevic trained gymnastics but switched sports when he was 10 years old. He began training at the Metalac Club at the start. He earned his first-ever gold medal in the 29kg division in an international boys tournament held in Slovenia after only one week of training. In 2013, he competed in the European Championship and won a bronze medal. He is a three-time national champion.
