BIOGRAPHY
In her home country, Mimi HRISTOVA (BUL) managed to win the Olympic quota for Bulgaria at the World Olympic Qualifiers. She defeated Adela HANZLICKOVA (CZE) in the semifinals to book her spot for the Games in Tokyo. With that, she will be traveling to Japan for her second Olympics after wrestling at the Rio Games in 2016 at 58kg. At the 2019 Worlds, she competed at 57kg but lost her first bout against Mathilde RIVIERE (FRA). She decided to skip the European Qualifiers in Budapest.
