Kherbache is a six-time African medalist and two-time African champion. He won his pair of titles in ‘19 and ‘20. The 26-year-old is Algeria’s third-ever freestyle Olympian. He qualified for the Tokyo Olympics with a 15-4 win over Junjun ASEBIAS (FSM) at the Africa and Oceanian Olympic Qualifier. He has 22 senior-level events under his belt and one world championship appearance. That was at the ‘19 World Championships where he went 1-1 and scored a fall over Mohamed Ismaele CAMARA (GUI).
