Championnats d'Asie de gréco-romaine : aperçu

ASTANA, Kazakhstan (29 mars) -- Les championnats d'Asie débute le 9 avril à Astana au Kazakhstan et les lutteurs en gréco-romaine seront les premiers à monter sur le tapis près le coup de sifflet d'ouverture. Les participants en 55kg, 63kg, 77kg, 87kg et 130kg lutteront dimanche 9 avril tandis que les participants en 60kg, 67kg, 72kg, 82kg et 97kg lutteront lundi 10 avril.

Les inscriptions de cette année en lutte gréco-romaine sont soulignées par cinq médaillés d'or en titre des championnats d'Asie et 17 médaillés de 2022. Les champions du monde de l'année dernière Zholaman SHARSHENBEKOV (KGZ) et Akzhol MAKHMUDOV (KGZ) tenteront de défendre leurs premières places asiatique respectivement en 60kg et 77kg.

Le médaillé mondial d'argent en 130kg, Amin MIRZAZADEH (IRI) luttera pour la première fois dans ce tournoi depuis qu'il a terminé à la première place en 2020.

Le Kazakhstan, hôte du tournoi, tentera de gagner deux premières places par équipe avec 4 médaillés en titre des championnats d'Asie 2022.

Par ailleurs, Le Kirgizstan qui a terminé troisième par équipe en 2022, est le pays qui compte le plus de médaillés en titre inscrits, cinq médaillés et l'Iran qui a terminé second par équipe en 2022 revient avec quatre médaillés. Bien qu'aucun médaillé des championnats d'Asie 2022 ne soit inscrit cette année, le Japon envoie une équipe de jeunes talentueux et était le sixième pays d'Asie le mieux placé aux championnats du monde 2022. Juste devant lui, se trouvait la Chine qui n'a pas participé aux championnats d'Asie l'année dernière mais sera là cette année et l'Ouzbekistan, qui s'est inscrit tardivement pour Astana.

Aperçu poids par poids

55kg
Amangali BEKBOLATOV (KAZ) est le seul lutteur inscrit dans la catégorie de poids non olympique de 55kg qui est médaillé en titre d'Asie 2022. Depuis 2023, Bekbolatov est invaincu remportant les Ranking Series Ibrahim Moustafa en février.

Le médaillé de bronze olympique de Tokyo en 60kg, Sailike WALIHAN (CHN), descendra en 55kg dans l'espoir de son premier podium aux championnats d'Asie.

Par ailleurs, Poya DAD MARZ (IRI), champions du monde U23 en 2022 et n°7 mondial en 55kg, essaiera de remporter sa première médaille d'or des championnats d'Asie après avoir terminé troisième lors de sa seule apparition en 2021. Il a démarré l'année avec une médaille d'or à l'Open Zagreb.

60kg
Le champion du monde en titre et n°1 Sharshenbekov est trois fois finaliste des championnats d'Asie et tentera de réitérer en tant que champion cette année. Deux médaillés en titre asiatiques 2022 supplémentaires sont aussi inscrits dans la catégorie de poids olympique la plus légère, Mehdi MOHSEN NEJAD (IRI) et Yernur FIDAKHMETOV (KAZ), qui ont remporté respectivement une médaille d'argent et une médaille de bronze en 2022.

Yu SHIOTANI (JPN), quatrième au classement, n'est pas inscrit pour concourir pour le Japon. A sa place, Maito KAWANA (JPN), qui vient de terminer troisième à 'épreuve des Ranking Series Open Zagreb 2023 représentera le pays.

63kg
Bien que la catégorie de poids n'a que neuf lutteurs participant, deux médaillés en titre reviennent -- Iman Hossein MOHAMMADI (IRI) et NEERAJ (IND) -- tout deux médaillés de bronze de 2022. Le deuxième participant le mieux classé est le représentant du pays hôte du tournoi, le Kazakhstan (21e), Mukhamedali MAMURBEK (KAZ).

Mohammadi a remporté les titres mondial et d'Asie U20 après le bronze aux championnats d'Asie avant de terminer l'année avec l'or aux championnats du monde U23. Il a débuté l'année avec une médaille de bronze à l'Open Zagreb.

Neeraj, champion d'Asie U23, revient à la compétition depuis les championnats du monde et après s'être rétabli d'une blessure à l'épaule.

Chiezo MARUYAMA (JPN), médaillé de bronze U20 2022, cherchera à faire des vagues au niveau senior en tant qu'autre jeune star montante de l'équipe gréco-romaine du Japon.

Le champion d'Asie U23 en 63kg Shermukhammad SHARIBJANOV (UZB) luttera en 63kg, uen catégorie de poids dans laquelle il a terminé cinquième à Zagreb.

67kg
Le héros local Almat KEBISPAYEV (KAZ), vainqueur de la médaille d'or asiatique en 2018 et de trois médailles mondiales senior [2015, 2019, 2021], est la star à regarder cette année en 67kg.

Il sera confronté au médaillé d'argent asiatique 2022 Hansu RYU (KOR), le seul médaillé en titre des championnats d'Asie à concourir en 67kg. Il faudra également surveiller Reza ABBASI (IRI), qui remplacera Mohammadreza GERAEI (IRI), numéro 2, dans l'équipe iranienne des 67 kg.

Un autre lutteur à garder à l'oeil est HUSIYUETU (CHN) qui a battu le champion olympique Luis ORTA (CUB) à Zagreb où il a remporter l'or. Il a ajouté le bronze à Alexandrie et est classé numéro trois mondial. En Asie, il sera la tête de série pour la compétition.

Abror ATABAEV (UZB) gardera de bons souvenirs du Kazakhstan puisqu'il a battu le champion du monde Meysam DALKHANI (IRI) lors de la Bolat Turlykhanov Cup l'année dernière. Mais il n'a pas encore réussi à reproduire ce succès. Les Championnats d'Asie pourraient bien être ce tremplin.

72kg

Bien qu'il ne soit pas très bien classé au niveau mondial, Adilkhan NURLANBEKOV (KGZ) est le seul médaillé asiatique de 2022 inscrit au tournoi de cette année. Sa concurrence sera féroce, car le groupe comprend également Ibragim MAGOMADOV (KAZ), qui vient de terminer à la cinquième place des Championnats du monde de 2022.

Magomadov, finaliste asiatique en 2020, est le lutteur le mieux classé à ce poids, puisqu'il occupe la 7e place. Il est suivi par Jian TAN (CHN) (11e) et Sajjad IMENTALABFOUMANI (IRI) (13e).

77kg
Dans cette catégorie de poids qui comprend le plus d'inscrit, la superstar de gréco, le finaliste olympique de Tokyo et champion du monde en titre Makhmudov tentera d'enchaîner deux victoires consécutives aux championnats d'Asie, après avoir remporté le tournoi il y a une saison.

Par ailleurs, Hyeonwoo KIM (KOR) cherchera à venger ses deux défaites précédentes de 4-1 contre Makhmudov dans des tournois où il n'a manqué qu'un match pour monter sur le podium, les Championnats d'Asie 2022 et les Championnats du monde 2022.

Makhmudov étant la première tête de série et Kim la quatrième, il est fort probable que les deux se rencontrent en demi-finale.

Rui LIU (CHN), cinquième au classement, et Amin KAVIYANINEJAD (IRI), ancien champion d'Asie des 72 kg, tenteront également de se faire une place dans l'équipe nationale des 77 kg. Le numéro 20 mondial SAJAN (IND) est également inscrit ainsi que le médaillé de bronze Kodai SAKURABA (JPN).

82kg
Dans la catégorie de poids non olympique la plus lourde des 82kg, Dias KALEN (KAZ) tentera d'améliorer sa deuxième place aux Championnats d'Asie 2022 lors du tournoi de cette année.

En tant que seul lutteur en Gréco-romaine classé dans le top 10 inscrit aux championnats d'Asie 2023 en 82kg, Kalen sera confronté à deux lutteurs classés dans le top 20, Alireza MOHMADIPIANI (IRI) (13e) et Akylbek TALANTBEKOV (KGZ) (17e).

87kg
Un tiers des inscrits en 87kg sont des médaillés en titre des championnats d'Asie bien que ce soit l'une des deux catégories de poids avec moins de 10 inscrits.

Naser ALIZADEH (IRI) tentera de réitérer sa médaille d'or asiatique de 2022, avec une motivation supplémentaire après avoir été à deux doigts de monter sur le podium aux Championnats du monde de 2022..

Mais Jalgasbay BERDIMURATOV (UZB), son dauphin de l'année dernière, reviendra à la recherche de son deuxième titre asiatique. Berdimuratov a terminé deuxième des Championnats du monde en 82 kg, mais il a sauté d'une catégorie de poids pour poursuivre ses rêves olympiques.

Les médaillés de bronze Sunil KUMAR (IND) et Nursultan TURSYNOV (KAZ) tenteront de monter à nouveau sur le podium en 2023.

Le médaillé d'or en titre d'Asie Mehdi BALIHAMZEHDEH (IRI) est venu invaincu à la coupe du monde gréco-romaine en novembre 2022 et souhaite profiter de cette forme pour participer aux Championnats d'Asie..

L'une de ces victoires en Coupe du monde, une victoire 3-3 selon les critères, a été remportée contre Uzur DZHUZUPBEKOV (KGZ). Les deux sont des adversaires familiers puisqu'ils se sont affrontés en demi-finale des Championnats d'Asie de l'année dernière en 97kg, où Balihamzehdeh a remporté une victoire de 4-1.

Dzhuzubekov cherchera à remporter son cinquième podium des championnats d'Asie. Il a déjà remporté l'or en 2019 et des médailles de bronze en 2016, 2018 et 2022.

130kg
En 130kg, Amin MIRZAZADEH (IRI) revient aux championnats d'Asie pour la première fois depuis qu'il a remporté le tournoi en 2020. Depuis, il a obtenu une cinquième place aux Jeux olympiques de Tokyo, une médaille d'or aux Championnats du monde U23 (2021) et une médaille d'argent aux Championnats du monde seniors (2022).

D'autres superstars de gréco-romaine à voir en super lourd seront Alimkhan SYZDYKOV (KAZ), Minseok KIM (KOR), et Roman KIM (KGZ), qui sont les trois premiers des Championnats d'Asie 2022.

CORSIER-SUR-VEVEY, Suisse (22 mars) -- Les championnats continentaux débutant le mois prochain, United World Wrestling a publié les classements qui détermineront les têtes de séries de ces tournois et offriront plus de points de classement aux lutteurs participants.

Les classements des femmes dans les 10 catégories de poids montrent que les lutteuses les mieux classées en début d'année ont bien l'intention de le rester à l'approche des championnats du monde qui se dérouleront au cours du second semestre.

Alors que les championnats continentaux comptent quatre têtes de série, les championnats du monde en comptent huit. Le tournoi de Belgrade donnera également des places qualificatives pour les Jeux Olympiques de Paris.

Voici la répartition des classements dans les 10 catégories de poids de lutte féminine après les épreuves de Ranking Series à Zagreb et Alexandria qui donnaient des points.

50kg
Yui SUSAKI (JPN) est revenue à l'épreuve de Ranking Series pour la première fois depuis cinq ans et a remporté l'or. En début d'année, elle avait 45000 points mais sa médaille d'or l'a portée à un total de 58000 points, 12800 points d'avance sur la deuxième, Otgonjargal DOLGORJAV (MGL) qui a 45200 points. Anna LUKASIAK (POL) a bondi d'une place pour devenir troisième avec 5050 points qu'elle a reçus pour avoir terminé 10ème à Zagreb.

Emilia VUC (ROU) a ajouté 5800 points à son score pour sa 9ème place à Alexandrie, la propulsant à la 5ème place. Jasmina IMMAEVA (UZB) est 6ème avec 29320 points car elle a terminé 7ème à Zagreb et 11ème à Alexandrie. Elle a récolté un total de 12320 points.

Elle était 10ème en début d'année mais Madison PARKS (CAN) a bondi à la 7ème grâce à sa 10ème place à Zagreb et sa 5ème place à Alexandrie. Elle a récolté 14480 points en deux tournois et a désormais 28780 points.

La nouvelle entrante dans le top 10 est Ziqi FENG (CHN) qui a 27000 points. Elle a terminé 3ème à Zagreb pour 16000 points et a remporté l'or à Alexandrie pour 11000 points de plus.

Miesinnei GENESIS (MGR), qui était auparavant 6ème avec 25000 points, a maintenant glissé à la 10ème place.

Elle n'a peut-être pas remporté de médailles à Zagreb et Alexandrie mais la championne du monde Dom PARRISH (USA) reste en tête du classement avec 50800 points. La médaillée d'argent mondiale Khulan BATKHUYAG (MGL) se maintient à la deuxième place avec 45520 points, 8520 points de plus que ses 37000 points du début de l'année.

Lucia YEPEZ (ECU) et Jonna MALMGREN (SWE), les deux lutteuses qui ont terminé 5ème aux championnats du monde, sont maintenant respectivement troisième et quatrième. Yepez a remporté la médaille d'or à Alexandrie pour 13000 points et a également obtenu 5800 points pour sa 11ème place à Zagreb. Malmgren a maintenant 33200 points grâce aux 8200 points qu'elle a récoltés pour sa huitième place à Alexandrie.

Iulia LEORDA (MDA) et Li DENG (CHN) sont entrèes dans le top 10 après les deux épreuves de classement. Leorda a 17680 points à la huitième place tandis que Deng a 16475 points à la 10ème place.

Le top trois en 55kg reste inchangé avec la championne du monde Mayu SHIDOCHI (JPN) en tête du classement. Mais Jacarra WINCHESTER (USA) arrive à la quatrième place, elle était sixième en début d'année. Elle a 33000 points car elle a remporté la médaille d'or à Alexandrie. Ce qui a repoussé Karla GODINEZ (CAN) à la cinquième place et Mariana DRAGUTAN (MDA) à la sixième.

Marina SEDNEVA (KAZ), qui était 10ème en début d'année avec 14300 points, a bondi à la septième place avec 19500 points. Elle a obtenu 5200 points pour sa médaille de bronze à Alexandrie.

Le saut de Sedneva signifie que Andreea ANA (ROU), Sushma SHOKEEN (IND) et Roksana ZASINA (POL) ont glissé d'une place chacune pour compléter la liste.

Maroulis a désormais 45200 points pour la première place tandis que Sakurai reste à 45000 points.

Alina HRUSHYNA (UKR) et Anhelina LYSAK (POL) restent respectivement troisième et quatrième mais leur total de points a augmenté.

Yongxin FENG (CHN) est passé de la neuvième place à la cinquième place avec 33420 points car elle a remporté une médaille d'argent à Zagreb et a terminé septième à Alexandrie. Laylokhon SOBIROVA (UZB) est en sixième position avec 27875 points car elle a également participé aux deux épreuves, Zagreb et Alexandrie. La 13ème place à Zagreb lui a valu 5075 points tandis que la 9ème place à Alexandrie lui a donné 5800 points.

Davaachimeg ERKHEMBAYAR (MGL) et Zhala ALIYEVA (AZE), qui étaient respectivement cinquième et sixième, sont maintenant septième et huitième.

Giullia PENALBER (BRA) et Qi ZHANG (CHN) sont entrées dans le top 10 avec respectivement 23400 points et 18400 points.

Une médaille d'or au Zagreb Open et une d'argent à Alexandrie portent le total de points de la championne du monde Anastasia NICHITA's (MDA) à 53400 points, restant au sommet en 59kg. Il n'y a pas de changement dans le classement avant la septième position qui est désormais occupée par Diana KAYUMOVA (KAZ) avec 17500 points.

Kayumova était neuvième avec 13500 points mais elle a gagné deux places en passant de la septième à la cinquième place à Alexandrie. Cela signifie que MANSI (IND) est maintenant huitième, Solomiia VYNNYK (UKR) est neuvième et Abigail NETTE (USA)est dixième.

La championne du monde Nonoka OZAKI (JPN) a été pénalisée pour ne pas avoir concouru depuis qu'elle a remporté la médaille d'or à Belgrade. Elle était la lutteuse numéro un avec 45000 points mais Kayla MIRACLE (USA) a désormais 56200 points et a pris la première place.

De plus, la médaillée mondiale de bronze Xiaojuan LUO (CHN), qui était quatrième, est maintenant deuxième avec 48200 points. Elle a amélioré son classement grâce à sa 11ème place à Zagreb et une médaille d'argent à Alexandrie.

Ozaki est maintenant troisième avec 45000 points, Aisuluu TYNYBEKOVA (KGZ) sur ses talons en quatrième position avec 43075 points. Tynybekova a terminé 13ème à Zagreb mais a rebondi en remportant l'or à Alexandrie ce qui a porté son total de points de 25000 points à 43075 points.

La médaillée de bronze mondiale Ilona PROKOPEVNIUK (UKR) est sixième avec 36800 points tandis qu'Ana GODINEZ (CAN) est cinquième avec 33200 points. Sara LINDBORG (SWE) a terminé cinquième à Alexandrie pour 9000 points et a réussi à monter d'un rang pour la septième place avec 26000 points. Lais NUNES (BRA) est également passée de la 10ème à la 8ème place avec 23300 points.

Les deux nouvelles entrantes au top 10 sont Bilyana DUDOVA (BUL) qui a 22613 points et Grace BULLEN (NOR) avec 19600 points.

La médaillée de bronze mondiale Mallory VELTE (USA) est passée de la quatrième à la deuxième place avec 35400 points, alors que Jia LONG (CHN) et Koumba LARROQUE (FRA) sont passées dans les catégories de poids olympiques.

Il n'y a pas d'autres changements dans les autres classements.

Personne n'a pu toucher la championne du monde Tamyra MENSAH STOCK (USA) qui reste en tête du classement avec 45000 points. Irina RINGACI (MDA) a pris la deuxième place devant Ami ISHII (JPN) avec 39200 points contre 37000 pour Ishii. La médaillée de bronze mondiale Linda MORAIS (CAN) reste quatrième avec 31000 points.

Sofiya GEORGIEVA (BUL) est passée de la sixième à la quatrième place avec 28705 points contre 18200 précédemment. Elle a terminé 10ème à Zagreb et 15ème à Alexandrie.

Adela HANZLICKOVA (CZE) est entrée dans le top 10 avec 25800 points grâce à sa médaille d'argent à Zagreb. Elle a également terminé cinquième à Alexandrie, ce qui lui a permis d'améliorer son classement..

L'ancienne cinquième NISHA (IND) et la sixième Feng ZHOU (CHN) ont maintenant glissé à la septième et huitième place. Deux lutteuses françaises, Pauline LECARPENTIER (FRA) et Koumba LARROQUE (FRA), sont neuvième et dixième avec 22500 points et 22400 points.

Le plus grand changement en 72kg est Svetlana OKNAZAROVA (UZB) qui passe de la sixième à la troisième place avec 30760 points. Elle avait auparavant 23000 points. Elle a obtenu 4000 points pour sa cinquième place à Zagreb et 3760 points pour sa sixième place à Alexandrie.

Amit ELOR (USA) reste en tête avec 43000 points, suivie par Zhamila BAKBERGENOVA (KAZ) avec 35000 points.

Aucun autre changement n'a été observé dans cette catégorie de poids jusqu'à la huitième place qui est maintenant occupée par REETIKA (IND) avec 15960 points. Elle est entrée dans le top 10 grâce à sa sixième place à Zagreb et à sa médaille de bronze à Alexandrie. Cela signifie également que Shauna KUEBECK (CAN) est passée à la neuvième place avec 15000 points.

La catégorie de poids la plus incertaine est dominée par Samar HAMZA (EGY) avec 50280 points, soit 5280 points de plus que la championne du monde Yasemin ADAR (TUR). Hamza a terminé 10e à Zagreb et 9e à Alexandrie.

Cinquième aux Championnats du monde, Genesis REASCO (ECU) est maintenant troisième avec 37 000 points, après avoir accumulé 12 000 points au cours des deux épreuves de Ranking Series.

Juan WANG (CHN) a également amélioré son classement, passant de la septième à la quatrième place avec 36600 points contre 18200 points au début de l'année. Elle a presque doublé ses points avec une cinquième place à Zagreb et une médaille d'argent à Alexandrie.

Justina DI STASIO (CAN) est maintenant cinquième avec 35200 points, suivie par Epp MAE (EST) avec 34800 points. Yuka KAGAMI (JPN) est septième avec 31000 points.

Gulmaral YERKEBAYEVA (KAZ) conserve sa huitième place avec 20075 points, mais Aiperi MEDET KYZY (KGZ) entre dans le top 10 en neuvième position avec 19600 points, après avoir remporté l'argent à Zagreb et le bronze à Alexandrie. Elle était classée 11ème avec 11400 points après l'épreuve de Zagreb.

She may not have won any medals in Zagreb and Alexandria but world champion Dom PARRISH (USA) continues to lead the rankings with 50800 points. World silver medalist Khulan BATKHUYAG (MGL) remains second with 45520 points, 8520 points more than her 37000 points at the start of the year.

Lucia YEPEZ (ECU) and Jonna MALMGREN (SWE), the two wrestlers who finished fifth at World Championships, are now third and fourth respectively. Yepez won the gold medal in Alexandria for 13000 points and also has 5800 points for her 11th place finish in Zagreb. Malmgren now has 33200 points, thanks to the 8200 points she collected for her eighth-place finish in Alexandria.

Iulia LEORDA (MDA) and Li DENG (CHN) broke into the top 10 after the two ranking events. Leorda has 17680 points in the eighth spot while Deng has 16475 points at the 10th spot.

The top three at 55kg remain unchanged with world champion Mayu SHIDOCHI (JPN) leading the way. But coming in at number four is Jacarra WINCHESTER (USA), who was sixth at the start of the year. She has 33000 points as she won the gold medal in Alexandria. That has pushed Karla GODINEZ (CAN) to fifth and Mariana DRAGUTAN (MDA) to sixth.

Marina SEDNEVA (KAZ), who was 10th at the start of the year with 14300 points, has jumped to seventh with 19500 points. She got 5200 points for her bronze in Alexandria.

Sedneva's jump means that Andreea ANA (ROU), Sushma SHOKEEN (IND) and Roksana ZASINA (POL) have slipped one place each to complete the list.

Helen MAROULIS (USA) is back on top. The former world champion was 8000 points behind leader and world champion Tsugumi SAKURAI (JPN) at the start of the year but went 200 points ahead of her with an eighth-place finish in Zagreb. Maroulis now has 45200 points for the top spot while Sakurai remains at 45000 points.

Alina HRUSHYNA (UKR) and Anhelina LYSAK (POL) remain third and fourth respectively but their total points have increased.

Yongxin FENG (CHN) jumped from ninth to fifth with 33420 points as she won a silver medal in Zagreb and finished seventh in Alexandria. In the sixth position is Laylokhon SOBIROVA (UZB) with 27875 points as she also participated in both Zagreb and Alexandria. Finish 13th in Zagreb was worth 5075 points while finishing ninth in Alexandria gave her 5800 points.

Davaachimeg ERKHEMBAYAR (MGL) and Zhala ALIYEVA (AZE), who were fifth and sixth respectively, are now seventh and eighth.

Giullia PENALBER (BRA) and Qi ZHANG (CHN) have broken into top-10 with 23400 points and 18400 points respectively.

A gold medal at the Zagreb Open and silver in Alexandria took world champion Anastasia NICHITA's (MDA) total to 53400 points as she continues to remain number one at 59kg. There is no change in the rankings until the seventh position which is now occupied by Diana KAYUMOVA (KAZ) with 17500 points.

Kayumova was ninth with 13500 points but she improved two places to seventh with a fifth-place finish in Alexandria. That means that MANSI (IND) is now eighth, Solomiia VYNNYK (UKR) is ninth and Abigail NETTE (USA) is tenth.

World champion Nonoka OZAKI (JPN) has been hurt by not competing since winning the gold medal in Belgrade. She was the number one wrestler with 45000 points but Kayla MIRACLE (USA) now has 56200 points to jump to the top spot.

Not only that, world bronze medalist Xiaojuan LUO (CHN), who was fourth, is now second with 48200 points. She improved her rank with 11th-place finish in Zagreb and a silver medal in Alexandria.

Ozaki now sits third with 45000 points with Aisuluu TYNYBEKOVA (KGZ) on her heels at fourth with 43075 points. Tynybekova finished 13th in Zagreb but bounced back to win gold in Alexandria which took her total from 25000 points to 43075 points.

World bronze medalist Ilona PROKOPEVNIUK (UKR) is fifth with 36800 points while Ana GODINEZ (CAN) is sixth with 33200 points. Sara LINDBORG (SWE) finished fifth in Alexandria for 9000 points and managed to improve one rank to seventh with 26000 points. Lais NUNES (BRA) also jumped from 10th to eighth with 23300 points.

Two newcomers in the top-10 include Bilyana DUDOVA (BUL) who has 22613 points and Grace BULLEN (NOR) with 19600 points.

World bronze medalist Mallory VELTE (USA) has jumped from fourth to second with 35400 points as both Jia LONG (CHN) and Koumba LARROQUE (FRA) have moved into Olympic weight classes.

There are no other changes in the remaining rankings.

No one has been able to touch world champion Tamyra MENSAH STOCK (USA) as he remains top-ranked with 45000 points. Irina RINGACI (MDA) has moved to the second spot over Ami ISHII (JPN) as she now has 39200 points over Ishii's 37000 points. World bronze medalist Linda MORAIS (CAN) remains fourth with 31000 points.

Sofiya GEORGIEVA (BUL) has jumped from sixth to fourth with 28705 points from her earlier 18200 points. She finished 10th in Zagreb and 15th in Alexandria.

Adela HANZLICKOVA (CZE) has broken into the top-10 with 25800 points as she won silver in Zagreb. She also finished fifth in Alexandria to further improve her rank.

Former fifth NISHA (IND) and sixth Feng ZHOU (CHN) have now slipped to seventh and eighth. Two France wrestlers, Pauline LECARPENTIER (FRA) and Koumba LARROQUE (FRA), are ninth and tenth with 22500 points and 22400 points.

The biggest change at 72kg is Svetlana OKNAZAROVA (UZB) who has jumped from sixth to third with 30760 points. She earlier had 23000 points. She claimed 4000 points for her fifth place in Zagreb and 3760 points for being sixth in Alexandria.

Amit ELOR (USA) continues to be number one with 43000 points followed by Zhamila BAKBERGENOVA (KAZ) with 35000 points.

No further changes were seen in this weight class until the eighth spot which is now occupied by REETIKA (IND) with 15960 points. She broke into the top 10 with a sixth-place finish in Zagreb and a bronze medal in Alexandria. This also means that Shauna KUEBECK (CAN) has moved to ninth with 15000 points.

Silver medal in Zagreb and gold in Alexandria have propelled Dalma CANEVA (ITA) to the 10th spot with 14400 points.

The weight class with the most uncertainty is topped by Samar HAMZA (EGY) as she has 50280 points, 5280 points more than world champion Yasemin ADAR (TUR). Hamza finished 10th in Zagreb and ninth in Alexandria.

Fifth placer at World Championships Genesis REASCO (ECU) is now third with 37000 points as she collected 12000 points over the two Ranking Series events.

Juan WANG (CHN) also improved her rank from seventh to fourth with 36600 points from 18200 points at the start of the year. She almost doubled her points with fifth place in Zagreb and a silver medal in Alexandria.

Justina DI STASIO (CAN) is now fifth with 35200 points followed by Epp MAE (EST) with 34800 points. Yuka KAGAMI (JPN) is seventh with 31000 points.

Gulmaral YERKEBAYEVA (KAZ) holds on to her eighth spot with 20075 points but Aiperi MEDET KYZY (KGZ) breaks into top-10 at ninth with 19600 points as she won silver in Zagreb and bronze in Alexandria. She was ranked 11th with 11400 points after the Zagreb event.

Martina KUENZ (AUT) is 10th with 15500 points.
