Course Info

The plan is to conduct a Level 1 Technical Course for Coaches on the Introduction to Coaching and Safety.  This will provide their coaches with a solid foundation of coaching skills.  They will be able to build off these skills for future training.  This course will be led by Mr. Vincent AKA.  Mr. Aka is currently one of the UWW Certified Educators and also a trainer for UWW Educators.  As an athlete, he competed in 3 Olympic Games and was a former national coach for France.  In addition to the coaching course, Mr. Zach Errett will provide a referee module to develop the referees and coaches.  This module will help provide a foundation of refereeing skills for the referees and will improve the knowledge of the rules for the coaches.  There will be multiple joint sessions where the coaches and referees will work together.  Mr. Errett is a UWW Certified Educator and also a trainer for UWW Educators.  He also refereed at 2 Olympic Games and multiple World Championship events. 
There will also be an IT Course conducted by Mr. Youssef Bouaziz (UWW IT Department).  This course will help train the staff on how to use the UWW software to conduct competitions.  This will be an important course as they will be hosting the competition at the World Beach Games.
After the courses are completed, there will be a 3-day national competition.  During the competition, the coaches and referees will be able to utilize their skills learned from the course.  Indonesia is also beginning to implement Beach Wrestling into their wrestling programme within the Federation.   They will be hosting the World Beach Games later this year which include Beach Wrestling.  During the course, there will be a session with a focus on beach wrestling rules and competitions.
