About Gable

At only 21 years old, Steveson will make his Olympic debut in Tokyo, competing at 125 kg. In order to make the U.S. Olympic Team, he defeated two-time World bronze medalist Nick GWIAZDOWSKI (USA) at the U.S. Olympic Trials. A junior in college, Steveson has plenty of international experience, including winning Cadet World golds at the ’15 Cadet World Championships in Sarajevo and ’16 Cadet World Championship in Tbilisi. In ’17, he helped the U.S. Junior team to a team title with a gold-medal performance at 120 kg. Steveson most recently competed at the ’21 Pan American Championships, where he won the 125 kg bracket without giving up a single point to his opponents, including a 10-0 win over 2018 Junior World silver medalist Aly BARGHOUT (CAN). It’s no secret that Steveson has his eye on the WWE after wrapping up his amateur wrestling career.
