About Kayla Colleen Kiyoko

Miracle will represent the United States in Tokyo at 62 kg. She also competed at the ’19 Senior World Championships. That same year, Miracle secured a silver medal at the ’19 U23 World Championships. In addition to the U23 silver, Miracle also owns a bronze medal from the ’14 and ‘16 Junior World Championships and a silver from the ’12 Cadet World Championships. Most recently, Miracle earned gold-medal finishes at the ’21 Henri Deglane Grand Prix and ’21 Pan American Championships. She also earned gold at the ’19 Pan American Games. At the ’20 Pan American Olympic Qualifier, Miracle finished second to qualify the U.S. for Tokyo at 62 kg, defeating ’17 World bronze medalist Michelle FAZZARI (CAN) en route to the finals. In order to earn the U.S. berth to the Olympics, Miracle defeated ’17 Cadet World champion and two-time Junior World silver medalist Macey KILTY (USA).
