About Haikel

The 37-year-old will compete in his third Olympic Games. He finished in 20th place at the ‘08 Beijing Olympic Games and 15th place at the London Olympic Games. He’s a seven-time African gold medalist. He won consecutive golds at every African Championships from ‘08-’14. He retired in mid-’15 but returned to action at the ‘20 African Championships and finished in second place.
