1:20: Guzel MANYUROVA (KAZ) came back to beat Ekaterina BUKINA (RUS) in dramatic fashion to reach the finals at 75kg. Bukina led 8-3 after the opening period and appeared to be on her way to victory. Manyurova turned the tables late and was able to get a fall with eight seconds left on the clock.

1:18: Erica WIEBE (CAN) blanked Vasilisa MARZALIUK (BLR) 3-0 in the semifinals at 75kg. Wiebe scored a takedown in the second period off a single leg. 

1:09: World No.4 Maryia MAMASHUK (BLR) edged 2012 world champion Elena PIROZHKOVA (USA) 3-2 to reach the gold-medal match against Risako KAWAI (JPN) at 63kg. 

1:04: World silver medalist Risako KAWAI (JPN) made it look easy in the semifinals at 63kg, rolling to a 10-0 victory over Inna TRAZHUKOVA (RUS). 

12:57: Saori YOSHIDA (JPN) will wrestle for her fourth Olympic gold medal tonight after shutting out Betzabeth Angeli. ARGUELLO VILLEGAS (VEN) 6-0.

12:56: World champion Helen MAROULIS (USA) earned a fall in the first period over world No.2 Sofia MATTSSON (SWE) to advance to the gold-medal match at 53kg. Maroulis controlled the match from start to finish. She scored first with a knee pick and led 2-0 after the first period. Another takedown in the second period put her up 4-0. Then in the final minute she scored a takedown and drove Mattsson over for the fall. 

12:46: Ekaterina BUKINA (RUS) punched her ticket to the semifinals with a 4-3 over Aline DA SILVA FERREIRA (BRA) at 75kg. Her semifinals opponent: 38-year-old Guzel MANYUROVA (KAZ), a two-time Olympic medalist (one for Russia and one for Kazakhstan). 

12:34: World No.3 Vasilisa MARZALIUK (BLR), a three-time world bronze medalist, knocked off three-time world champion Adeline GRAY (USA) 4-1 to reach the semifinals. Gray scored first off the shot clock to go up 1-0. Marzaliuk came back to score a step out and then late takedown for the win. Marzaliuk will now face Erica Wiebe (CAN), who advanced with a 5-2 win. 

12:22: Risako KAWAI (JPN), a two-time junior world champion and world silver medalist, rolled to an 8-2 victory in the quarterfinals over Anastasija GRIGORJEVA (LAT) at 63kg. She will now face Inna TRAZHUKOVA (RUS), who edged XU Rui (CHN) 5-4. 

12:13: Elena PIROZHKOVA (USA), a 2012 world champion, picked up a win over returning world champion Battsetseg SORONZONBOLD (MGL) 3-2. Piozhkova led 1-0 after the first. The Mongolian came back to take the lead in the second with a takedown. The American responded with a takedown of her own to grab the lead and hold on for the victory. She will now face world No.4 Maria MAMASHUK (BLR) in the semifinals. 

12:02: World champion Helen MAROULIS (USA) battled back to defeat JONG Myong Suk (PRK) 7-4 to reach the semifinals at 53kg. Jong led 4-1 in the second period before Maroulis turned it up and scored three takedowns in the finals minute to win by three. 

12:01: Sofia MATTSSON (SWE), five-time world medalist, cruised to a 10-3 victory over Katarzyna KRAWCZYK (POL) at 53kg. 

11:45: Three-time Olympic champion Saori YOSHIDA (JPN) advanced to the semifinals by shutting out Isabelle SAMBOU (SEN) 9-0. She will now face Betzabeth Angeli. ARGUELLO VILLEGAS (VEN).

11:31: World champion Helen MAROULIS (USA) picked up her second technical fall of the day, blanking ZHONG Xuechun (CHN) 10-0 at 53kg to move on to the quarterfinals. 

11:25: XU Rui (CHN), a 2013 junior world bronze medalist, knocked off world No.1 Yulia TKACH (UKR) 3-1 at 63kg. 

11:21: Japan suffered its first loss of the Olympic Games in women's wrestling when Aline DA SILVA FERREIRA (BRA) edged Rio WATARI (JPN) 4-3 at 75kg. Watari was leading before the Brazilian used a four-point move to gain the lead and eventually the victory.

11:05: World No.2 Sofia MATTSSON (SWE) picked up a first-period fall over Odunayo Folasade ADEKUOROYE (NGR) to advance to the quarterfinals at 53kg. Mattsson led 8-0 at the time of the fall.

10:57: ZHANG Fengliu (CHN), a 2013 world champion, came back to defeat returning world bronze medalist Epp MAE (EST) 6-3.  

10:47: World No.2 Erica WIEBE (CAN) notched a 5-0 shutout over Maria SELMAIER (GER) in the round of 16 at 75kg.

10:38: Elena PIROZHKOVA (USA), a past world champion, moved on to the quarterfinals with a 10-7 win over Taybe YUSEIN (BUL). Yusein led 4-2 in the second period until Pirozhkova locked up a crotch lift and used it to gain eight points and take a commanding lead. The American would hang on to win by three. 
 

10:32: Three-time Olympic champion Saori YOSHIDA (JPN) blanked Natalya SINISHIN (AZE) 4-0 in her first match in Rio at 53kg. 

10:29: World No.1 Battsetseg SORONZONBOLD (MGL), a two-time world champion, won a hard-fought match on criteria over Blessing OBORUDUDU (NGR) 1-1 at 63kg. The Nigerian scored first off a step out and led much of the match before she was put on the shot clock and was unable to score.

10:28: Three-time world champion Adeline Gray earned a first-period fall over Andrea Carolina OLAYA GUTIERREZ (COL). Gray secured a quick takedown and then used an arm bar to get the fall. 

10:22: World No.4 ZHONG Xuechun (CHN) used an arm throw to score four points, which paced her to a 6-1 victory over Nina HEMMER (GER) at 53kg.

10:19: Hafize SAHIN (TUR) came back to earn a fall over Lais NUNES DE OLIVEIRA (BRA) at 63kg. The Brazilian raced out to 5-0 lead and narly had Sahin pinned. A short time later Sahin threw Nunes de Oliveria to her back and secured the fall.

10:12: Helen MAROULIS (USA), a returning world champion and three-time world medalist, rolled to an easy technical fall in her first match against Yuliia KHAVALDZHY BLAHINYA (UKR) 12-1. She finished the match with a leg lace. 

10:04: World No.1 Yulia TKACH (UKR), a 2014 world champion, opened with a win by injury default victory over Danielle LAPPAGE (CAN) at 63kg. Tkach scored a takedown off a go-behind early in the match, and then Lappage suffered an injury and was unable to continue.

1:18: Erica WIEBE (CAN) a battu Vasilisa MARZALIUK (BLR) 3-0 en demi-finales à 75 kg. Wiebe a marqué un plaquage la deuxième période.

1:09: La No.4 mondiale Maryia MAMASHUK (BLR) a battu le championne du monde de 2012 Elena PIROZHKOVA (USA) 3-2 et se qualifie en finale face à Risako KAWAI (JPN) à 63kg.

12:56: La championne du monde Helen MAROULIS (USA) a gagné par tombé en première période face à la No.2 Sofia MATTSSON (SWE) et se qualifie pour la médaille d'or à 53kg. Maroulis a contrôlé le match du début à la fin. Elle a pris l'avantage 2-0 après la première période, puis un plaquage en dernière minute avant de faire tomber Mattsson.

12:46: Ekaterina BUKINA (RUS) s'est qualifiée pour les demi-finales en gagnant 4-3 face à Aline DA SILVA FERREIRA (BRA) à 75kg. Son adversaire en demi-finale: Guzel MANYUROVA (KAZ), 38 ans, double médaillée olympique (une médaille pour la Russie et une pour le Kazakhstan). 

12:34: La No.3 mondiale Vasilisa MARZALIUK (BLR), double médaillée au niveau mondial, a battu la triple championne du monde Adeline GRAY (USA) 4-1 et se qualifie pour les demi-finales. Gray a marqué tout de suite après le coup de sifflet, prenant l'avantage 1-0. Marzaliuk a recollé au score grâce à un step out et à un plaquage. Elle affrontera Erica WIEBE (CAN).

12:22: Risako KAWAI (JPN), double champinne du monde junior et médaillée d'argent au niveau mondial, a battu Anastasija GRIGORJEVA (LAT)  8-2 en quarts de finale à 63 kg. Elle affrontera Inna TRAZHUKOVA (RUS), qui a battu XU Rui (CHN) 5-4. 

12:13: Elena PIROZHKOVA (USA), championne du monde en 2012, a battu Battsetseg SORONZONBOLD (MGL) 3-2. Piozhkova  menait 1-0 après la première période. Battsetseg est revenue en marquant un plaquage, auquel son adversaire à répondu avec un autre plaquage et a pris l'avantage. Pirozhkova affrontera maintenant la No. 4 Maria MAMASHUK (BLR) en demi-finale.

12:02: La championne du monde Helen MAROULIS (USA) a battu JONG Myong Suk (PRK) 7-4 et se qualifie en demi-finale à 53kg. Jong menait 4-1 en seconde période avant que Maroulis ne marque trois plaquages dans les dernières minutes du match.

12:01: Sofia MATTSSON (SWE), a facilement battu Katarzyna KRAWCZYK (POL) 10-3 à 53kg. 

11:45: La triple championne du monde Saori YOSHIDA (JPN) s'est qualifiée pour les demi-finales en battant Isabelle SAMBOU (SEN) 9-0. elle affrontera maintenant Betzabeth Angeli ARGUELLO VILLEGAS (VEN).

11:31: La championne du monde Helen MAROULIS (USA) a gagné pour la seconde fois de la journée par supériorité technique, face à ZHONG Xuechun (CHN) qu'elle a battu 10-0 à 53kg. Elle se qualifie pour les quarts de finale. 

11:25: XU Rui (CHN), médaillée de bronze des championnats du monde junior de 2013, a battu la No.1 mondiale Yulia TKACH (UKR) 3-1 à 63kg. 

11:21: Le Japon a connu sa première défaite des JO en lutte féminine lorsqu'Aline DA SILVA FERREIRA (BRA) a battu Rio WATARI (JPN) 4-3 à 75 kg. Watari avant l'avantage jusqu'à ce que la brésilienne ne marque quatre points et ne remporte le match.

11:05: La No.2 mondiale Sofia MATTSSON (SWE) a battu Odunayo Folasade ADEKUOROYE (NGR) par tombé en première période et se qualifie pour les quarts de finale à 53 kg. Mattsson menait 8-0 lorsqu'elle a gagné par tombé.

10:57: ZHANG Fengliu (CHN), championne du monde en 2013, a battu la médaillée de bronze Epp MAE (EST) 6-3.  

10:47: La No.2 mondiale Erica WIEBE (CAN) a gagné 5-0 face à Maria SELMAIER (GER) en 16e de finale à 75kg.

10:38: Elena PIROZHKOVA (USA), ancienne championne du monde, s'est qualifiée pour les quarts de finale en battant Taybe YUSEIN (BUL) 10-7. Yusein menait 4-2 dans la seconde période, avant que Pirozhkova  ne marque huit points avec une seule prise et ne prenne nettement l'avantage. L'américaine a gagné avec trois points d'avance.
 

10:32: La triple championne olympique Saori YOSHIDA (JPN) a battu Natalya SINISHIN (AZE) 4-0 lors de son premier match à Rio à 53kg. 

10:29: La No.1 mondiale Battsetseg SORONZONBOLD (MGL), double championne du monde, a remporté un match difficile sur critères face à Blessing OBORUDUDU (NGR) 1-1 à 63kg.

10:28: La triple championne du monde Adeline Gray a gagné par tombé face à Andrea Carolina OLAYA GUTIERREZ (COL). Gray a rapidement marqué un plaquage et a ensuite utilisé une prise des bras pour gagner par tombé.

10:22La No. 4 mondiale ZHONG Xuechun (CHN) a gagné 6-1 face à Nina HEMMER (GER) à 53kg.

10:19: Hafize SAHIN (TUR) a gagné par tombé face à Lais NUNES DE OLIVEIRA (BRA) à 63kg. La brésilienne a rapidement pris l'avantage 5-0 et a failli écraser Sahin, qui a réussi a faire tomber son adversaire un peu plus tard et a renverser l'issue du match en gagnant par tombé.  

10:12: Helen MAROULIS (USA), championne du monde et triple médaillée mondiale, a facilement battu Yuliia KHAVALDZHY BLAHINYA (UKR) 12-1 par supériorité technique.

10:04: La No.1 mondiale Yulia TKACH (UKR), championne du monde en 2014, a gagné face à Danielle LAPPAGE (CAN) à 63kg. Tkach a marqué un plaquage tôt dans le match mais Lappage s'est ensuite blessée et n'a pas pu continuer le match.
