Biography

Essombe Tiako is a nine-time African championship medalist. She has five runner-up finishes, three bronze medals and reached the pinnacle of the African Championships in ‘20. She picked up a pair of falls and a 10-0 win in the gold-medal bout against Rckaela Maree Ramos AQUINO (GUM) and punched her ticket to a second Olympic Games. She also competed in the ‘16 Rio Olympic, where she finished in 16th place.
