The 30-year-old is ranked No. 4 in the world at 86kg.Taylor, nicknamed ‘the Magic Man,’ won gold at the ’18 World Championships with signature win over Hasan YAZDANI (IRI). A three-time Pan-American champion with record of 11-0 -- including nine shutouts. Earned Ranking Series golds at the ’18 Yasar Dogu and Ivan Yariguin. He suffered a knee injury at ’19 Grapple at the Garden and was sidelined from April ’19 – March ’20. In his return to the mat. Taylor won 86kg gold at the Pan-Am Olympic Qualifier and earned U.S.A’s berth to Tokyo. He trains under 2004 Olympic champion Cael SANDERSON (USA). Taylor and his wife Kendra have a one-year-old daughter London and are expecting their second child in September.
