A few wrestlers can boast about winning medals at cadet, junior and senior World Championships -- but Punia is one of them. A former cadet and junior world champion, Punia won a silver at the senior worlds in 2019. The 22-year-old has been a consistent performer at the age-group level and transformed that success at the senior level, winning Asian and world medals. He will be seeded No. 2 at the 86kg weight class at the Olympics, below world champion Hassan YAZDANI (IRI).
