Abraham CONYEDO (ITA) is a regular podium finisher at Ranking Series events and European Championships. Despite that, he failed to qualify for the Tokyo Games at the European Qualifiers and it was only at the World Qualifiers that he defeated Akhmed BATAEV (BUL) in the semifinals to punch his ticket to the Games. He switched nationalities from Cuba to Italy in 2015. For Cuba, won a silver at the Youth Olympic Games in 2014.
