FISU World University Championship Beach Wrestling Recap

FIGUEIRA DA FOZ, Portugal (September 17) -- Beach Wrestling at the 2026 FISU World University Championships Beach Sports will be held in Figueira da Foz, Portugal from September 17 to 18.

Figueira da Foz, with its vast sandy beaches, mild climate, and long-standing sporting tradition, stands as one of Portugal’s most iconic coastal destinations -- a city where the ocean, sport, and community come together in perfect harmony.

Team participating in the Beach Wrestling event are Brazil (BRA), Croatia (CRO), Spain (ESP), Hungary (HUN), Moldova (MDA), Portugal (POR) and the United States (USA).
